I'd pick shine over accolade. Yes i've seen both up close.

i vote for shine and going to kenny in NJ to have it put on. if you get the shine autobahn kit, he has done plenty of them and really knows his way around them. of course i might be a little biased since i did the same
oh noes, kelly! on a positive note (for you) I'll have to park even farther away from you when you've got it straightened out on account of how much nicer you're 8's gonna look than mine

Let me know if you need any help with things. FWIW, I don't like any of the aftermarket body kits... I'd probably go with the mazdaspeed body if I "had" to.

I never see your car!
I'd only be going with the bumper for now
. If I wasn't at work I could upload it, it's Shine's version
Now I need to figure out what kind of mesh to get? Ken suggested customcargrills.com but I have no idea what it would look like on my car?
Whatever I get will be black... I have gunmetal wheels now and ordered grey side markers? ahHhHhhhhhh...

Good choice Kelli, thats where I got my mesh, ask Ken what the overall demensions of the grill opening is so you can pick the size you need, I cant imagine you needing anything more than 12"x48" and make sure to get powdercoated black, a piec of this mesh is about $60 but well worth it,,,

This is the mesh I got, its a traditional diamond weave, in black powdercoated.

Kelli,
To throw a wrinkle into your thoughts. I have always been partial to this.

no one has ever bought that kit so it doesnt have any record, fitment-wise. If memory serves me right, I remember no one actually being able to get ahold of the manufactuer either.
$450 + Shipping Tsunami Polyurethane perfect fit. very durable

i would not get metal mesh. i would look for plastic mesh. the reason is, plastic mesh is black all the way through. there is no way it can chip. my mesh is starting to get all chipped up. and it doesnt look that hot.
when i redo my grills, im going with this. and its not expensive at all.

pick black as a color and click molded mesh. bam. you get the diamond pattern (that i currently have) and that is pretty standard fair.

Why don't you install an OE bumper instead?
My price for a new front standard, unpainted original Mazda OE bumper cover is $300 + shipping. This doesn't include any other parts.
That's likely your best bet.
FWIW, an OE bumper looks a lot sexier than some poor fitting aftermarket replica copycat junker. They usually require a great body person many hours of expensive work to come out even half way decent. When it's said and done you might as well bought the real thing.
