Fitment is okay in that everything bolts up to the car, but the molds are kind of crappy. The gap from my hood to the fender is really small on the drivers side and really large on the passenger side. I bought it as kind of a guinnea pig just to see how they were. They would need a few days in a body shop in order to fit perfectly.

my car will be out of the shop tomorrow with them... i brought it to a high end body shop and well the fitment is sub par... its a shame i think they used ten hours of fitment on each fender to get the gaps right and its still not perfect... i know what you guys are goign to say... the place i took it was crazy but these guys work on porsche carreras, custom lotus elises, bentlies, etc... this is a top notch place...so i should have pics tomorrow or the day after... be hesitant and if you do decide to get them please find a good body shop

So true. Colormatching ftl. I'm gonna buy a body kit and MS wing and just get the whole car resprayed, it'll be cheaper.

do u guys have any idea of how heavy the fenders are out of the box?

if you dont know specific numbers, are they at least lighter than stock aluminum ones?

noone has contacted me... i got some pics before paint fit and i have the same bigger gap on the passenger side problem. Plus my drivers side was cracked where the headlight is when i received it but im not about to wait another 30 somethin days for them to respond to a tracking request like last time. Not the best customer service for me but i got them now...

well i just picked mine up from the shop today... i have to say when its done right its pretty subtle... if you can imagine that... overall i am pleased but i would ldeff suggest getting a real pro to put htem on.... accolade was pretty good with me they did not take to long to respond to any of my emails... dont get me wrong they werent right there waiting for the email but they got back to me a day or two later...

overall i am very happy with the design... i would give the initial fitment a d+ and the final product after fitment a-

about how much did you end up paying the shop to fit it correctly and paint? (practically everything but the cost of the fenders themselves) i have about $1300 saved up for w/e i please...and i think this may be my next upgrade.

please dont get fenders for your next big upgrade...it may sound good now, but you would much rather have coilovers or other suspension mods much more. Trust me...

i dont really see the point in getting 2000 dollar coilovers just because...all it does is changed the ride hight when you want it. When i cant even lower my car 1 inch, if i do i wont be able to make it up my driveway, i cant do many more engine mods because of warranty, so exterior mods are next, and i dont want to go body kit just yet, simply because i like the way the car looks stock, besides the front 3/4 panel. So i thought this would be my next best upgrade. Im not too much into music so audio system wouldnt be what im looking for. Why do u say not to get them, of course aftermarket body parts wont have OEM fit but they are definitely an eye catcher.

First of all, coilovers dont just change ride height. You would be amazed how much coilovers change the way your car drives, for the better. Second, I say you would not want to get THESE FENDERS one because there is never going to be an A+ fit like it has been said. All I am saying is if I were you and I had that much to spend, there is no way I would spend money on big purchases unless the big purchase was perfect quality. Lets say, if you spend 2k on coilovers and they work perfectly and serve their purpose, or if you spend 2k on different fenders and they "Kind of" fit perfectly, there is always that kind of that goes along with the product. Basically, there are better aftermarket kits quality wise that bring out the stock shape also, so i guess i am biased because the other kits fit better.

Wrong, right, wrong, and semi right.

The fenders are thin gauge steel

The OEM hood is aluminum

Only the rear doors are aluminum, the fronts are steel

And the trunk is also steel

Go get a magnet off your fridge and stick it on your car. It will stick everywear to your OEM panels except your hood and rear doors
