Yes it's 10mm x 1.25mm metric thread. I got a screw tap to fit my new shifter **** on there and it fits like a charm.

I disagree. Red is really cool looking

Anyone have a picture of the red shift **** and red handbrake? I ordered up my shift **** today from the dealer along with some "red" floor premium floor mats. I am contemplating the brake handle in red... pics anyone?

Im too busy to check 4 pages, but the reason its expensive is because it comes with a NEW shift boot too and it lights up. Im looking into it being cheaper. I may have found a loop-hole..

I've only installed the red leather handbrake in my car, no shift ****. I really like how it turned out. It was worth the pain of installing. Sorry I haven't taken any pictures of it. But here's a picture I've found of someone elses car.
