Securing rear rotary emblem
I can't locate the thread but for the person who lost or had their rear rotary emblem stolen, have a look at the attached picture. I haven't installed mine yet because it's still to cold here in Canada. I will use the tape included after I clean the area with alcohol and will also use a little black silcone at the corners to help it stick. If silicone is used, roughen up the areas of aluminum with some sandpaper first to help the silicone stick. Use either a #4 stainless steel 1/2" screw or a small nylon screw and nut available at the Home Depot. If you use the nylon, drill a hole in the top of the accent and into the black plastic of the rear of the car. The nut can easily be put on from under the rear of the bumper; OR just put the stailess steel screw directly into the black plastic bumper holding the accent on with confidence.
Sorry, the picture seems to be too big of a file and I can't attach it??????? How can I do it???
