Remove adhesive from taillights
The PO had this terrible tinting crap glued onto the taillights. I just pulled off all that and I'm left with a layer of sticky adhesive. I tried acetone. It kinda works but doesn't get it completely clean and takes forever.
Any advice how to get it clean?
Thanks in advance

WD-40 and patience, acetone will eat the plastic. also try wax and grease remover like DuPont 900. this stuff eats everything but cured plastics like paint and rubber. WD-40 is the easiest and will probably do the job

When I went to get tint removed from my windows for inspection I asked the installer to have a go. He softened the adhesive up with ammonia and scrubbed the hell out of them. They are great now.
