I like how they look in my car, no melt problems with the stock exhaust without cat.

garbage in, garbage out.
you obviously CANNOT compare these things with the authentic Ings car, that's ridiculous.

Hope you guys are prepared to do some fiberglass work if you have any illusions of making those fit anywhere close to the blue car.

Al: checked your exhaust hangers? Only time I melted my OEM was due to a bad hanger.

I prefer the OEM (look and quality) , in my case i had the urgently to buy this ones replicas in ebay, some one hit and break off the originales ones, I do not live in U.S.A. and in my country I couldn't get them (oem), when it arrived wasn't what I thought.
But i like how it see.

The hangers are OK. I have the Corksport catback and it was installed when the car was only 2 yrs old. I just take the Dremmel tool out and cut out a couple of inches when I replace the shrouds.

I've seen quality non replica kits fit like ***, so either way it's gonna need some tlc to fit and look right. Fiberglass is easy to work with and at leat I have something I can hack up to use, but right now it's missing.

Give me an example of what you have seen in terms of an authentic kit fitting like ****.

Corksport tells you to trim the inside of exhaust shrouds. I believe a few exhausts companies request the same. It is no biggie and you cannot tell once installed.

I've been on this forum for many years now an have seen several people say I bought "x" and it doesn't fit perfect. The only one that I have seen fit perfect is the authentic ms bumper.

Bullshit. Unless X = replica. And there is a big difference between fitting perfect and fitting like *** (which is what you said). Even my stock bumper doesn't fit perfect.

With all of your posts I would have assumed you came accross these posts as well, seeing that your "seasoned" I guess not even the "best" will have seen all the threads.

Those posts don't exist and you have never seen an authentic kit that has "fit like ***", you are just talking out of your ***.

My apologies, good luck with your purchase Hesselrode, I am sure your car will look hot with these shrouds installed . Post up pics when you get them, I'd love to see how it turns out.

I want to see pictures of them mocked up on you car without any alterations so members can get an idea of what these fit like 'out of the box'

then maybe I'll post pics of authentic Ings and you guys can see the difference.

I will do that Jedi. Anything that doesn't fit good can be made to fit good, with a little TLC, FG, time, and patience. I've bought replica stuff before and gotten it to fit with a little work. I guess there are many people that don't possess the talent that others of us have. I am sure they will look fantastic. Only bad thing about them is they are polyurethane, and any modifications to them will be fiberglass.

Jedi, do you have access pictures of unmodified/unpainted Ings?

Al, don't mind 9k he rains on everyones parade.

This is what a RX8er posted in that other thread about these shrouds
I sent them a message before I bought them, sent them a message after I paid for them and got replies both times. Also, got info on shipment and everything. They are on their way.

Redesigned accolade fenders due to fitment issue... Hmmm... Wasn't going to go outta my way for proof but since I stumbled on it here is one instance. Fit bad enough to be redesigned.

this would probably be a good time to mention that Accolade doesn't make an authentic (aka original) product.
It's already a replica. They based that design off a picture of an RX8 that was shown at an autoshow. (blue RX8, I forget the show)

sorry but try again...
