re-badging emblems, anyone?

ok, i know re-badging is not as populat of a mod as de-badging. but if anyone here has badged their car, what did you call or name her/him?

i am quite fond of how the japanese market mostly use some sort of a feminine name for their vehicles... kinda like an exotic stripper type name for their cars if you will. (ie. cefiro, savannah, etc.)

so i have picked out a perfect name for my 8 and its been on there for a while now. i picked "roxette" to not only keep the "R X" in there, but also to closely resemble actually saying R X EIGHT.

also, i actually have a ticket where the officer wrote down the make and model as an mazda roxette. ( that was pretty cool, minus the speeding ticket)

just curious, does anyone else here customize their badges and what did you call ur car if anything???

I actually want to cut the flying M badge and make it look more sinister along with replacing the MAZDA emblem on the lower left side of the trunk to "MA-ZU-DA" in katakana. I think that'll look hot.

thanks perks and henri

you guys wouldn't also happen to have heard of a singer/band named roxette would ya??? its an 80s, early 90s female singer that someone (i forgot who) remade her song. song was called "listen to your heart".

i guess i'm just very old school. but yeah... i figured it was a great name for it. not to get overboard, but i thought they should've offered that name in the japanese market in replacement of the savannah thingy. which is still nice...

OMG! DO IT! that will be pretty hot. tho i'm not really feeling the "M" badge...

I however, think it'll be just pure hotness if you went with the katakana badge+ angry bunny's custom rotary emblem.

ANGRYBUNNY, awesome design. i really wonder how it'll look actually on a rx8.

all 3 combined will just be too much imo. (custom rotary emblem+ katakana mazda+ roxette)
whaddaya think?

kersh4w just got his front bumper debadged and it looks a whole lot different than mines!!! I saw it on Monday and me and him have the same body except for me not having a spoiler. So that said I urge you to do if you have the guts to do it on your own.... I wish I did!!! Rebading will set you car apart from the rest!!

Remember when Bester did this?
I believe this is the front badge and he painted the rears as well.....see the thread below. I think I would like to de-badge the rear, then have this emblem in black on the back and nothing else.
