Alternate Mazda RX-8 Emblem - Need suggestions and answers
I am considering taking off the Mazda emblem at the front and replacing it with a custom RX-8 emblem. So here are the questions that I have about this:
1) I've read some posts and it seems that there are screws that hold the front emblem down. Is this true?
This means autobody shop work to take it off and repaint that section (This isn't an option that I will be considering).
2) I would like to have the attached image in chrome/alloy (heck as long as it's shiney :D ) to replace the Mazda emblem. Where can I get this done?
If all works out. The auto body shop will just need to fill the holes, paint that area instead of the entire section and pop on the new emblem that will hopefully cover that area.
3) Any suggestions on how to achieve that I'm thinking of doing beyond what I just mentioned?
4) Where can I get the "RX-8" emblem found at the back besides the dealer?

I have been searching for the custom JDM emblem too but only in AUTOEXE front bumper kit. I have seen lots of JDM custom front bumper kits without an emblem. Besides, remember the RX7, they have the mazda emblem too but later somehow the JDM version has another symbol for the car. I advise you should wait a little bit longer until it develops.
Other than that, I suggest u can paint your mazda emblem in gun metal color (dark grey color) which was similar to supra. It will look nice in your titanium.
Check out the shop called "optional" which was located in Bayview and john they might have the RX8 emblem or in BC auto.
Cheers!

PoLaK - Thanks for the info. The screws on the hood, are they easy to remove? The Mazda Emblem on the rear, does that have screws too or is just glued on like the "RX-8" and "Mazda"? Question about emblems for the hood, since there is a slight curve, I assume that if I get a flat emblem, it won't work well on the hood.
liqiud - There is a thread that showcased an emblem with Mazda Speed, I think the website is emblemhouse.com, it's not what I'm really looking for, but there is potential that someone will be drumming one out soon. If you find out that someone did make this emblem, give me a shout.
