i wouldnt get one at this moment but it would definitly be something i would like to get in the far distant future. i always liked how the rx7s had widebody kits but ive only seen 1 good one out of 2 for the rx8.

It would be interest if the kit is add-on parts, instead of replacing whole bumpers and fenders.

This might reduce some fitments issue and it might bring the cost down too.

I don't like it... sorry. Wide Body's should stay with the 7's... it just doesnt compliment the curves of the 8.

I think the question is, why aren't things like this in more demand? I was used to not getting parts when I drove an MR2 but I thought there would be 300% more parts for the 8 when I bought it.....

APR does great work and I know i'd take a loan out to get one (or sell some old stuff lmao) but I agree that most people will back out.

^ 8upbad that's how i felt when I got the car but now I realize it's not a bad thing because it means there is less ricer S@#t out there for our cars when compared to Hondas and such

Yeah but I am having trouble finding stiffer motor mounts! And people seem to rice out our cars well enough, lol.

taking out a loan to buy a widebody kit for a car may be the second worst thing you could financially do.

I love the way Speedsource does it. R-magic is sweet from the front but do not like the rear.

We just need someone to produce decent front and rear flares that we can mold into the fenders.

I was joking about the loan lol. I have enough car parts laying around to cover the cost easy... but i keep telling myself i'm gonna do something with them...
Another project for another day.

+1 to this...I would defenitely be interested. And would be willing to save up to drop the money for it.

The big plus on this is that APR is in the US. So there would be no crazy *** shipping price the kit from Japan. And all their widebody kits include the front wind splitter and even canards on some...which some others dont include...its not too large of an expense but a + nontheless

Also I bet while they would be manufacturing the kit they would do the mirrors and maybe some other miscellaneous stuff
