Can someone recommend a set of LEDs that will fit into the fog light housings without modification? I seem to recall people saying the V-LEDS required you to remove that reflector piece inside the housing, and that just isn't something I'm looking to do.

Much obliged.

I've noticed that the parking lights: http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P.../SFV/32481part number: 194_4_HP_W

and the interior lights: http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68710-1-2.html part number: 194_3HP_W

Are sold out... Is there any substitution for this?

Hey, I haven't checked in on this thread in a while. As Alz0rz said, all the bulbs that I'm using are in the first post with links. The bulbs that I'm using for the parking lights and interior have been discontinued though. I'd suggest these as a substitute:

hey aipex, just reviewing your updates, everything looks great. i had a aftermarket fog light go out on me, so i'm thinking of maybe trying vleds. i went with white before but i think i really want to go with yellow for the fogs to switch it up. first, those updated fog bulbs look huge!! they fit? i run (ran) my fogs as drl's, so i want something that will last. do you think led's will work for that, or should i stick with a standard bulb and just get yellow ones? ...just thinking out loud!

maybe these? http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...72495-1-2.html

You do have to modify the fog housing (take out the reflector cap) to get the LED bulbs to fit. Also, the bulbs that you linked to there are amber, so are going to look more orange than yellow. If you want yellow fogs I would go with a standard incandescent bulb. I have a pair of PIAA yellow fog bulbs that I run sometimes in the winter (rainy season) and they are amazingly yellow.

ah ok, that's very helpful. PIAA yellow's sounds like it for me for fogs at least. thanks!

They don't if you read the item description it tells you what is included look up some DIY's and you can decide which set up is right for you there are ones that tell you how to wire switches how to wire it to your parking lights or to your courtesy lights

I have the 6" strips from V-LED's I wired mine and my buddies up its really simple just search for footwell LED's in the DIY sub section I'd link the one i Used but I forgot to save the link

If your tech is good with installs he can wire it so that it gets power from the acc and uses a switch to complete the current any small electronic switch should do

No, there is no switch included. I've got my white ones wired to the interios lights that come on when the door is open and the red ones wired to come on with the head lights. You certainly could wire them up with a switch, just pick one up at Radio Shack.

I haven't bought any LEDs in a while, so I figured I would buy some so I can post pics and stuff. Got a pair of these for the parking lights:
