Need body advice please

This morning i was involved in a wreck, due to ignorance on another person I rear ended them. No damage was done to their car, and the only thing wrong with my 8 is spider cracks in the paint on the front clip. Since the raise in insurance plus the deductible would be more expensive than just buying a new clip, i do not intend to make claim for a repair.

But due to the cracked paint, i need to do something. I have a 2004 Ti Grey. I have always wanted to get the Mazdaspeed kit, and now I may have a reason to finally buy it. I am somewhat worried about the brand new body kit matching well with the current paint, My 8 looks pretty much brand new freshly washed and waxed, but I'm wondering if anyone has had matching problems with a year or two old 8, till I can afford the full kit I'm just gonna by a bra for it.

Thanks

It's how the body shop matches the paint.

Look for a good shop.

You can buy the genuine MS kit that is only primed, so you can get it paint matched. I purchased the TG appearance package this year, and my car is an 04. I could tell that there was a slight difference in the color.

If your worried about the color match buy a primed one like Jag said, but I doubt it would be noticbly off if you installed a prepainted one.

Congrats! Im waiting for an excuse to throw a body kit on my 8 also.

Double Down, for a reputable shop color matching, should not be a problem. Find a good shop.
