My ongoing LED conversion...

I started this thread to illustrate my ongoing project of converting certain lights to LED.

As some of you already know I've already completed the center brake light and one interior door light.

Please feel free to add and ideas or comments to this thread.

why yellow??? you should have done Red for the side markers. One of the guys in S.B. put red vinyl on his clear corners (for his VR) and it actually looks pretty cool. (so what if it's illegal. )

Are you planning on getting rid of the red reflector ring? How about the red lense? I'm not sure if those are separate pieces, but I think they may be. I like version 1, keep it simple and circular, no rotary symbols or anything like that.

Here's an idea. Leave the red reflector ring but remove the red lense. Put a ring of red LEDs behind the reflector and then in the center, for the brake, put something similar to this:

I plan on keeping the reflector and the red lens. I according to ups, I should have the tail lights in one week. Once I get them I can hack them up and see what can be done. I also think version 1 looks the best.

Note the above idea would work equally well with the red lense in place also.
