MS body kits!! help!!!
I want to buy a MS body kit. a replica version. not the real MS kits. i live in denver, Colorado so every thing i buy for my RX8, I order it online. I have been looking everywhere online but doesn't know which website to trust. they all have the kits made out of fiber class. I don't want fiber class, the are suck, and in denver, there are not many body shop that can work with fiber class product perfectly. any suggestions guys.

well dude,
1) there are many many many threads about MS kits. use the search button up top. it helps out alotttttt.
2) why do you want a repica over the real kit? any reasons? the overall price youll end up paying more for fake and still not have perfec fit.
3) real MS kit comes with 12 month 12,000 mile warrenty...

Search is your friend. But let me save you some time - you're not going to find a replica kit that you can rely on to give you a quality fit, and unless you have access to a friend who owns a body shop or some other way to get a ridiculously good deal on all the work it will take to make the replicas fit, you are better of saving and buying the genuine article.
I too am very fond of the MS look and I wish I could get it. But I also don't want to pony up the cash to buy the real kit (it is farking expensive, for realsies). I've looked very hard, and I can't find a way to get it done without the genuine article short of having access to free labor or getting blind lucky with a good fit.

If anything, get replica sideskirts and rear. But do NOT get a replica front.
Yes, there have been some people who have found good replica's.
But they still have there problems
Fiberglass = run away
Urethane = better material, but will sag over time.
Pay $1200 or whatever price you can find the Authentic front bumper for. Then search around and find replica side skirts and rear.

If you dont' want fiberglass, get the Authentic. Sorry buddy but you gotta pay to play.
The replica MS front fits terribly!
The rear is too high up, you can see the exhaust canisters quite easily as opposed to the real deal. (local member had it, looked hideous) He eventually threw it away and bought the authentic
MS replica wing is also horrible. The brackets are cheaply made

yeah, seriously, i got a non-oem trunk lid and was so excited...and i put it on...and my jaw dropped. i was like WTF. ha ha. i'd suggest save up for the real think. unless you know a guy how got a replica, where he got it, what he paid, and how much he paid in labor so you can add it all up and know it'll be cheaper, just get the authentic...
there is a reason why the knock-offs are cheaper...
