I'm not really into rally stripes, but I thought a couple ELEGANT accents to the car might be nice. I've had trouble finding anything online that I like, and kinda wanted the community opinion.

I was thinking of going with the 166-Orchid Mist color on the link provided below which should look classy on the crystal pearl white if done properly.

Anyone seen any lavender brake calipers? I've seen pics of red and blue but no purple/lavender. Was wondering how well it would look.

 

The design of the RX-8 is a little on the busy side, so personally I like it best all one color. Body graphics/accents can work, but not on a stock car. Do you have wheels? Kit? Lowered?

I also don't like brightly colored stock calipers. I know our brakes work great, but they aren't pretty, even painted, why draw attention to them? Paint them black or silver or get a big brake kit and have it powder coated lavender. There are a couple of girls on the forums that have done pepto pink calipers and they look awful in my opinion.

 

My vote is no.

 

Ran across this pic in Rx8 Baby's profile. Any photoshoppers out there capable of doing the stripes in the orchid mist if I post a pic of my car? I wouldn't want the stripes around the grill. Maybe a one with and without the "fangs" jutting around the wheel?
