momo shifter install

I just ordered
http://www.ltbmotorsports.com/f16carbon.html

I was wondering about how to remove the stock shifter.
Does it twist off or what?

I have an auto and I have a momo shift ****. As long as there is no button to engage the shifter like on some auto's (not ours) you can use a manual shift ****.

Mikeb: Yes....the OEM **** just screws off. I ended up trimming the shift lever or else the thing was gonna stick up way too high.

Love those...does anyone have one of these on a manual? How do they compare in size/height to stock?

I still love the hood, from your avatar I am assuming you painted it red? If so can you post some close up pics of the hood?
