Mazda Speed body kit where and how

Ok well i was going to get a rx8 with appearence package and rear spoiler but im trying to find a used one and itll be alot easier just to find one of the base ones used then with all the stuff i want. And instead of appearence package ill just get the mazda speed body kit.

Now i need some recomendations on where to buy and im not a automecanic at all so ill have to have it put on at a body shop and painted how much do you guys say this will cost me?

Does the kit come in pieces? Do i have to buy the side skirts grill back bumper side mirrors etc seperate?

If i buy the car new from the mazda dealer and order it special can they put on the body kit for me?

Would it be better to go to a body shop or a mazda dealership?

Thanks guys this is alot of help

The Kit is Front Bumper, 2 Sideskirts, 1 Rear Diffuser.. and optional Wing.

Side Mirrors is optional too... but that has to be painted.

All the rest CAN come prepainted which is good, since it'll match identical to your car.

Ask your dealer if they can just install the kit for you if you buy the kit from them..etc etc.. work out a deal with them.

not if you didn't drop your car with springs....

also expect to spend about 2800+ on the Real Kit, and if you can't do the install, it's going to be about 700-800 fee... :P

ok i figured about 3,000 and is that including the mirrors and spoiler? and as long as i dont drop the car any i should be able to clear parking bumps and speed bumps and steep driveways etc.
Because this is my greatest concern because their are alot of areas where their are these things in my city.

Thanks

hey

You would make bumps easily if you slow down and curve. I remember reading some threads on clearance. you can search for it, but i would say around 1 or 2 inches lower. Kinda forgot. Also the kit is around 3500. was lazy to add them all. But heres the cheapest website, and free shipping might i add.

It's not free shipping at Finishline.. because it'll have to be delivered by Freight, they wont be able to ship it for free.. it'll cost them at least 150-200 to ship to your house. The Wing is around 850+, and the mirrors around 500-600 unpainted.

You're looking at least 3700 total at the end prior to installation.

Ya, that's excluding freight type stuff though... anything that requires freight like the front and rear bumpers.

[shorty911]

We're actually offering a MS Style Urethane Kit right now as a group buy on the forums.

Check out the vendor forums and look us up. If your in the LA area, you can also drop by AutoWerks and have it installed there if you wish.

Our kit comes with the front, sides, and rear.

We don't have the wing or mirrors though.
