I actually found out the one of my friend who also drive rx8 got a replica MS front bumper, so i went to check it out this morning. He told me the bumper itself was 300 CAN $, and it was fiberglass. The installation and paint cost another 300 CAN$ for him.when i looked at the bumper very closely, i could easily tell it's not the real kit. The surface was obviously not flat in a some area, but when i stood in front of the car and looked at it, it looked alright to me. This was the 1st time i carefully looked at a replica kit, so i don't know what other replica look like, but i think i can live with that.

My question : would the urethane kit look better( more even on the surface) than the fiberglass?

i believe urethane is lighter. but once its cracked, thats it.

fiberglass can be repaired and repainted if you hit something and break it.

who was the maker for his replica kit?

I asked my friend, but he didn't really know anything..he told me the bodyshop ordered the kit and took care of everything.
