LED brake/Tail lights?

Has anybody installed any LED tail/brake lights like the bulbs in the link below? Did it require any additional mods being that LED won't flash?

They will work OK, but I'd rather buy these instead.
Also, make sure you do not replace the third brake bulb with the LEDs, or you'll get the ABS light. Alternatively, you may try to use a single load equalizer so that the low resistance of the LED bulbs doesn't trip the ABS light.

integrated led taillights look the best, but are expensive.

I got a quote for integrated led taillights and they wanted around 700.00. Thats when i said screw that and made it myself with the help of Rotary Rasp design. I only charge half the price so your really getting a good deal and a nice look.

+1, that's what I'm running. Athough you should check out Evils as well.

2004 RX-8 LED Brake Light

I have searched and read a bunch of posts, but I am still a bit confused about what I need to do to replace my brake light bulbs with LED bulbs.

Do I need a certain type of LED bulb?

I bought some and they didn't work and smelled like the burned up. And blew the brake light fuse, but for some reason the PO only had a 5 amp fuse in there.

Any special requirements for the reverse light?

Thanks!
