It can be done.
I've only seen this black one below and a red one on some other site. The kit conversion goes for $3k.

For those interested I am selling my lambo door kit from convert2vertical for the RX-8. I have it listed in the for sale area for $1250. I had them install just the passenger door before doing the rest of the car and it seemed to tight for me to get in and out of the car granted I am middle aged so I dont bend quite as good as I used to but in any case, The kit is truly bolt on NO WELDING and works really well. If you are interested in the kit let me know as it is still for sale.

It looks cool , but you might not trying to squeeze out of the opening like a rat out of hole! How did you even barely get through that opening AWillsea?

I found the pictures of the red 8 with lambo doors.
HOW DO YOU GET IN?
No clearance at all, by looking at the second picture below.

Looks phat but extremely impractical..... you've got to limbo under the doors to try to fit in.
Definitely out of the question for everyone bar a contortionist.

Maybe that's why they are called "lambo" doors :D
It's just a typo...

I checked decah for their universal kit and i saw its only for 1600$=1260euros in trc-tuning.com.Good price but not completely bolt-on.Needs some modifications.I am going to ask them cause it looks very goo in my eyes and if i can get in-out easy without bending like a rubber,i ll go for it

I dont like the Lambo doors. At the SEMA show all the cars trucks and suv's that had them where all flimsy.

On that note, I was curious whether you are required to get an engineer's certificate or a certificate of roadworthiness when you install the Lambo doors?

The door they installed on my 8 was rock SOLID. The kit is not flimsy at all. I am just too big a guy to try and squeeze through that opening. My kit from convert2vertical is still for sale in the Parts For Sale area.

there is a reason why lambo doors belong on a LAMBORGHINI. Cars that put these doors on after the fact were never designed to allow the correct space when opened.

If you get Dihedral Synchro-Helix Doors you should have plenty of room to get in and out
