This was my reaction. If I saw this in person I would buy you a Vanilla Ice cd.

Kudos for originality though.

You should replace it with "RX-". That would look the "illest" in my opinion.

It looks tacky and out of place, if you ask me.

imput threw a pretty nice "illest" sticker on his car and I think it looks a lot cleaner overall:

It seems like many of you guys don't realize Illest is a company associated with Fatlace/Hellaflush, very well known/popular. It has nothing to do with using the word, lol.

Oh, but I did find this too.

dont say "gay" as an insult. i have gay friends and we have gay club members -being compared to this "illest" thing is an insult to them.

really i thought people stopped saying illest 15 years ago. it wasn't cool the first time around. id buy you a vanilla ice CD too... no i wouldnt, i wouldnt give that guy money.

"illest" and "hellaflush" are icons/representations of a style not just the words. make fun of the style but to make fun of someone saying "illest" (when pertaining to this kind of car modification) is missing the point of why the op would put the badge on his car

sure the kids who came up with the names could have done better but oh well

" the kids who game up with.." its just some marketing department. not a grass roots gathering.

I was explaining what it was for those calling the badge "original," that is all. I guess I'm a bit too timid to be calling guys out for being "posers," regardless of my own opinion. I usually leave that up to the others. If this were posted on a forum where those hellaflush dudes hung out he'd probably be called out in minutes for it. A part of me still thinks along the "to each, his own" lines and see's nothing wrong with someone wanting to associate with a company, for whatever reason.

And yes, it's a brand made popular by a norcal shop that is currently doing ridiculously well. Kudos to them but this hypebeast stuff isn't for me, and that's typically what I associate those hellaflush/illest stickered up cars with. It's all over many of my other regular forums, rx8club typically has a different crowd and we really don't get many of those guys. I think it has something to do with our car being too slow

Kudos on the post regarding gay being used as a derogatory word; using the word as such is an utmost sign of immaturity.
