I'm gonna with Dremel and a glue gun? The housing is just plastic, you can put whatever you want in it if you're willing to hack it up.

Properly lighting the road and not blinding everyone, now that takes engineering.

 

I was quickly looking this up, looks like Acrua RDL headlights. Relatively inexpensive compared to what you can spend.

I am doubtful this person went through the exact duplications to get the beam to shine correctly, but it could be done with a quick angle-iron fixture and some painters tape. More of a tedious job at that point though.

 

Have you tried contacting the guy? I'm also curious. Not something I have any intention of doing, but curious all the same.
