How much lower is the evoR cf lip than the aero lip?

I want to buy the evoR cf front lip but I dont want it to be dragging close to $500 on the ground.... haha. So how much lower is it then the regular aero appearance package front lip.

^lol wut? didnt know that was considered a front lip

but from the looks of the lip it is only a little lower than the stock ap lip and as long as your car is not slammed you shouldnt experience any problems with scrapping.

good thread for pics/info on install https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/evo-r-carbon-fiber-front-lip-136596/

^you yet fail again.
I did not have the evo_r but i had the veilside ver1 (1/4 lower than stock ap lip). the only time i had issues were on steep inclines going down. If you go slow it will only rub the bottom but nothing you can see. the key is slow and at a angle. I was also lowered ~1.5".

yeah you should be fine if you use the methods i described and speed bumps at a angle. You should already be used to most of these at this point

id like to point out that the lip also protrudes out more than the aero package lip so even if its not that much lower, your more prone to scraping regardless because it would take longer for the tire to reach that section of the ground than having the aero package.

I've been thinking about the evo-r lip too..
Also saw that shine auto projects has the Type-II Aero kit
Dunno which one I want yet.
Any input on the differences of the two?
