hey, i have stock HIDs on my car and i want to change them to 6000k lights. so do i have get a whole new HID kit. or can i just buy 6000k HID bulbs?

Actually, that thread has nothing to do with what he is asking. Maybe instead of directing him to another thread, you could have simply said:

"You don't have to buy a whole HID kit. If you have a GT with stock HIDS, then just buy new bulbs. For example, I bought these 8000k bulbs.

 

So you think there is no info in that thread that will help?

 

The thread is about LED's, not HID's. He would have to sift through the information to find a simple answer. It doesn't matter now because I answered his question.

 

Bulbs (capsules) are cheap - I bought 8000k, 3000k, 6000k etc for about $25 a set from Ebay, just to play around. Settled on the 6's myself.....

Cheap cheap cheap. So they're made in China? Big deal - what isn't.

Some people are so hung up on name brands and self-imposed illusions of perceived quality.

The ones I got say they were 'designed in Germany' I think that means they are a Bosch rip-off!
