Go to the theRPMstore.com you can get a very nice 35W HID kit for $100 with a life time Warranty.

I bought mine on ebay for like $70. It's worked pretty well. Sometimes a light will kinda flicker... but it goes away when you turn them off and on again. But I paid a lot less. But it's a great mod. One of my favorites actually, if you get 6000K-8000K it makes it look pretty nice. Draws heads.

I looked at that thread, saw the link Mike posted but it no longer works, so for clarification what kit do I need?

I just got a 8000k HID kit. Don't know about my fogs now. Does 3000k yellow look nice? And what did you do with the driving lights? The 194's I believe.

I just bought these...

I drilled holes into the oil cooler support brackets on both sides and screwed the ballasts on the backside. I didn't feel the need for slim ballasts.

lol, yea, I bumped an old thread of yours.. I guess I'll look and see if I could find some whitish/blue for my driving lights. That and finding the 3000k yellow fog light bulbs.

check out this website I have upgraded my factory hids bulbs with theirs and havent had any problem with them. I also bought a whole kit with the slim ballast--installation was very straight forward-- for my bike. Their prices are very competitive too.

Anyone have trouble installing the conversion kit since our H7 bulbs need adapters to install. I don't see it mentioned here so I'm guessing the vendors listed here includes adapters with their kits. Does therpmstore.com hid kit have adapters?

I bought one off of ebay without really worrying about the H7 adapter since my D2S retro fitted bulbs happened to fit tightly without the adapters. I just used a rubber grommet I found at Lowes and wrapped it around the base. any better ideas?
