They actually are white....or at least supposed to be white lol. Maybe it's just the way the camera picked up the light.
And yeah I tried to curve them up a little bit, but it's one of those materials where it can't bend sideways, just back and forth. So, it could curve around the side of the bumper, but not upwards on the lights (hopefully that makes sense).

It looks pretty good, but what concerns me is what happens when it rains... will it indeed come off? Also, one must be really careful when washing the car.
It'd be great if the LEDs were on the inside, but opening the headlights are out of the question for me for sure

Ya I'm concerned for that as well. But I'll just have to hand wash my car from now on which I wont mind because it's a lot cheaper...or just cover them up before going through the wash. For rain, I'll just make sure it doesn't rain when I'm out
It was only $40 so wtf...might as well try it!

Actually! I just went through a machine car-wash (like many gas stations have), and the lights stayed on perfectly! I was quite surprised actually lol. So if they can handle all that pressure of the water from a machine wash, I bet they can withstand rain. good news for anyone interested in doing this!

nvr, I believe he mentioned they're from Autozone. I think they're the 15" Pilot Automotive LED strips, if memory serves, and they're $19.99 each.
vndr - can you fill me in on what is needed to wire them to the parking lights via the fuse box? We need a DIY!

Lol okay. Actually I didn't wire them to the parking lights, they're just wired into the engine bay's fuse box under the component titled: "ENGINE." This way, whenever the key is turned to stage II (when the windows, A/C, sunroof operate), the LEDs will come on. (In stage I, they're off, and only the sound system will work). So, they are on ALL THE TIME WHENEVER I AM DRIVING THE CAR. During the day, they are slightly noticeable, and at night, dang, they're freakin bright imo. I'm not sure how to wire them so they come on with the parking lights, but personally, I like them better this way! I'm not going to make a DIY, sorry. I suck at instructioning people and taking criticism when it's not done right.
Hope this helps!

I agree with what a few different people said. First, my only problem is that its very very Audi haha. I have an automatic negative bias towards anything that's wannabe. However, looks wise it's 100% bad ***! Especially on that 8. If only you'd thought about it before Audi... haha.

Really great looking and one doesn't even have to open up the headlights...
Anyone have a good DIY (pics?)?

Somehow if the strip could be covered (laminated or whatever, don't know what'd be the best way), then it may be better protected and last longer.

the adhesive and everything else may be valid points, but the led's themselves are no concern. led's are permanently sealed diodes cast in epoxy
just gotta worry about the leads

Time to bump this back up!
How would I go about tying this to say the headlight or parking light operation? Is there a simple location in the fuse box, or am I going to have to splice these onto the lines feeding those lights?

Might not be able to get an answer from the OP, he did sell the car (or so his sig says).
I'm willing to test out the strip. I'm going to go to autozone tomorrow morning to pick it up and possibly do a DIY. I want to see if I can fabricate something to protect the leads coming out of the strip.

Will do.
If anyone can provide me an answer to the control question I ask before (whether there is a fuse location that turns on with the headlights), it'll help me out a lot. Otherwise I'm going to have to figure how to splice the connectors to the lines feeding the headlights.
