I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a few areas i'm having trouble with.
I'm trying to do a FULL LED Conversion and color change on pretty much every light on my Rx8.

So here's the list.
For the purpose and use of this list, i'm referring to part numbers for V-LEDS.com
I'm trying to get a grasp on this project, if you know of other bulbs/kits available that are better please don't hesitate to say so!

This is also to make sure that all the bulbs listed are the correct ones for the right places!

Hmm...has no one done a "full" conversion to LED before? anyone have any help/tips?

 

Your car already has OEM HID headlights, correct?

 

Yes it does, but for 6k diamond blue bulbs do i need that kit? or just the bulb? i can't seem to find just the bulb for 6k diamond blue for existing HID setups.

It seems that V-leds took the Diamond Blue 6000k off their site since I last bought them. In my own opinion, I would not go further past a 6000k. Give V-Leds an email and ask them if they can sell a separate pair of 8000k Diamond Blue. Their customer support seems to help out a lot of people.

You won't need the full kit unless you want to put HID in your fogs.

 

Yeah i don't have fogs anymore, when i installed my ing bumper i took them out. And 8k diamond blue or 6k? i don't want them too blue but i want them to look more blue than white but still be bright...

 

I believe 6k will give you that blue look without being too blue, though it's relative. Look up videos on youtube to get a rough idea, unless you know somebody who uses that color temp.

Also, I know Corksport sells a Full Led Kit for our cars on their site as well.

 

i have every light on my car switched to led. i would recommend purchasing corksports led convrsion kit for all interior lights, license plate lights, and front drl's. for headlights you have to purchase any d2s bulb of your choice , whether it be 6k 8k or whatever. just make sure the one you purchase has a lifetime warranty. for the turn signals and corners visit rotoryfx.com they have different intensities and colors. as far as tailghts go rotoryfx.com has a full led conversions including the nedded resistors for the turn signal bulbs. my car looks great and i have done all of the above. not a single bulb was missed in my conversion. and everybody loves how bold and flashy my car is at night.
