Foglight options

This week I've been working on my new frontend, Autoexe SE-03C...

It's still a WIP regarding paint I'll be wet sanding, cuttin' and buffin' tomorrow. Anyway back on topic just wondering if anyones fitted anything other than stock fogs? I refuse to pay stealer prices for the OEM units and wondering how best to fill the void.

and to answer your question "fill the void" I think it would be nice if you take the small chrome pieces off and cover the top holes with wider chrome pieces (it's gonna look like eyelids looking down and mean), and the bottom ones you could just match the center of the bumper with the same mesh so you have airflow for the oil coolers

First of all, he's talking about 09+ fogs, not the 04-08 fogs that AZparts has.

To answer your question, I don't think you are going to find anything that fits that cutout, since it's kind of an odd shape. If you don't want to use the OEM fogs, then I would look into getting the OEM trim piece that goes on the base model 09. It's the same trim piece that rotr8 is using. It might be cool to use the non-fog trim piece then find a bright LED strip that will fit in that groove for DRLs (actually, if you find the right LEDs you may be able to use the trim pieces you currently have). You gotta go bright though, those cheap $5 strips will look dumb.

I tried some DRL's unfortunately there's nothing off the shelf in my area thats suitable I bought some poxy small ones and they looked crap so will need to shop around. Until I find something suitable the foglight openings have been meshed...

Bumpers now on the car but still requires a good polish.
