Red face Fog Lights

I was thinking of adding fog ligts to my 8, and was thinking if its a pain in the *** to do it, i looked for few OEM, and few aftermarket ones. Also as if it will be an all day project
I know dealer would charge me an arm and a leg to get it put in.

It should not be a all day job. Check the DYI section and send some PM's.

I have a base model rx8, with fogs. Its pretty easy to custom wire them to a radio shack switch, and probably even easier with the kit. I do not know how easy it is to install the fogs themselves, since I had to buy the whole bumper with them installed already. And yellows look the best IMO.

I was wondering on adding fog lights too..
How much do you think they'll charge me to install them on my 8?
I'll break the entire front part of the car if I tried doing it myself.

I added OEM fog lights (blue) to my 8 and for me was very easy (I'm an Electronics Engineer) I live in Pembroke Pines and work in Miami, so I can install it for you, just PM me.

if you go to the dealership, they'll charge you an arm and a leg! I don't imagine this would be super difficult to do yourself (even with minnimal mechanical skills) just fairly time consuming if you're taking your time.

-As for getting the fog lights I would check the F/S section or maybe even look into asking Paul over at Mazmart if he's got any lying around.

-When you put bulbs in, I'd highly recommend the HOEN H11 bulbs! (just get the blue lens covers from Mazda)

I'll check into that. I need to buy some fog lights first. I'll look around.

multi-tint with Hoen high endurnace yellows, made a thread and everything lol Definitely a kick *** yellow out of those, goes nice with the factory HIDs.
As far as installing the fogs, putting them on the bumper is nothing, hard part might be installing the switch or wiring, but looking at mine yesterday it may be as simple as plugging in harnesses and such. The fogs I'm selling to a forum member have the OEM instructions, I'll take a look tonight to see what all is involved. As much info as this site has, you should be more than covered.
