Finallly deciding to mod my rx8 HELP wanted.
After months and months of anticipation,
Ive come to a decision to do something to my car. (2005 Sunlight Silver Rx8, clear corners and aem intake)
A little background, had my car since may 2007, created my rx8club account a couple months ago, and finally started using this account this past month.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I've come up with some ideas with what to do to my car off some pictures i have seen on this site.
So i was planning to add a CF lip to my car (either Evo-R or Seibon) and sideskirts. Im still deciding on whether to get CF sideskirts to match the lip or go with the MS sides. I looked for a picture but was unable to find one of this combination. HOOK UP the pictures if so. thanks.
Other than this, i wanted to drop my car (tein springs, coilovers are too expensive) and maybe pick up some black leather seats to swap out the soft material that i have.
Please flame if you really need too.
comments or suggestions are highly welcome. If you are selling or parting out your car with what i am looking for or have someting really exquisite, feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Danny

Here is a CF lip and sideskirts on a SS. Not exactly what you are looking for, but it gives you an idea.

i have another question.
what would you guys prefer, the seibon CF lip or the burnout lip.
i saw pictures of the burnout lip but i was wondering if anyone had a SS rx8 with the seibon lip. unless that post by rex was the seibon?.
thanks in advance.

Yes, that is the seibon lip. Personally I like the looks of the seibon over the burnout lip. Makes it look more aggressive. But it's up to you ultimately tho, it is your car and you will have to look at it everyday.
Check out the calling all sunlight silvers thread for more great ideas.

Effie's lip kit isnt the Seibon its the AutoExe(authentic too)
The styling between the AutoExe and the Siebon is the nearly the same...
I know that the AutoExe fits perfect, I have no experience with the Seibon.
Currently I have the Burnout CF(authentic) and its fitment is perfect as well...
Both kits are well styled and definately add an aggressive look ,,, good luck with your choice...
CF will always look good with SS because of the high contrast
I know my car is TI GRAY but its still the Burnout

now that I look at the Seibon site again they advertise their lip as AE style only leads someone to assume that AE stands for AutoExe,,, so you have nothing to be fooled by they may have distribution rights in the states
So you would probabaly be safe getting the Seibon if you like the styling of the AuotExe.... again good luck, its a nice clean look

Hey Deen i just wanted to throw this out , but if you're going to change your springs i suggest to change it with shocks as well. I've seen cars blow out their stock shocks in less then 5k miles after the purchase of new springs. Just a precaution.
