Fibreglass body kits - any good ?
Have been offered a fibreglass replica MS bodykit for a good price . I guess fibre glass is the cheapest material out there - any comments much appreciated .

I hear from auto body people that fiberglass sucks...if you get any kit get it urethane...fiberglass kits are never warrantied at shops because they tend to crack or break and wind can really play a factor in bending or breaking fiberglass pieces...urethane on the other hand is the way to go as far as auto body people are concerned...
This is only what ive heard not from personal experience because i dont paint cars or install body kits...

fibreglass is just heavy and yes when they break and crack it is a pain in the butt
urethane is more bendy.
Unfortunately most bodykits are fibreglass tho...... but if u can find a kit thats urethane thats better.
My sides and rear are fibreglass, ive had my side skirts repaired cuz i scrapped pretty bad once, no problems... my front is urethane however, again no problems.
anything is possible if u have a decent body shop to goto... i really dont think ive heard of a replica not being made out of fibreglass, always does depend on the quality of fibreglass aswell!!
