Thanks for the update Jay. I have been out of town and I am headed out again on Saturday.

 

I am very interested in how this works out. I just lost an original vent that flew off at 135mph. Is there any word on higher end clips? Snap some pics, I want to see how the paint works with these vents.

 

Can we get a list started for the next set to be made? Or can we just order direct? Thanks for making them fd3s777 and to DRKSYDE for organizing this!

 

Hey DRKSYDE can we get these pre-painted for delivery and just pay extra? Don't trust anybody shops here within 2 hours of where I live and 2 hours is a long ways to drive to get fender vents painted.

 

Just found this thread. DRKSYDE and EVO-R--Thanks tremendously for getting this going. I'm very interested in getting in on this when the product is available. I'll need black, but will paint it as needed.

For the other latecomers--the whole point here is that the CF vents currently available are quite expensive, almost $300 by the time they're shipped. These should be less than $100, an exact duplicate of the AutoBahn CF vents pictured earlier in the thread.

As far as getting them pre-painted I don't think that is an option. However you may be able to PM Jay directly and see if he can send a set to a local paint shop that he trusts and then ship them to you for a nominal fee of course.

Wing5 - To my knowledge the mold hasn't even been made yet. Jay is still waiting for the originals from Japan to arrive.
