agreed. Not so sure I want CF either since I have no CF on my car and I don't want to open up that can of worms.

Yes no offense to those that want CF but I started to thread and contacted Jay, (Swoope's suggestion) to come up with an alternative to the high priced CF. Plus I am not a huge CF fan...

I have the Sumota CF intake and thats probably as much CF as I want. Plus I don't have to look at it till I open the hood!

I like Spin want the FRP so I can paint it black and continue the DRKSYDE Black on Black on Black on Black motif...

drksyde, do you need any more founder donations? if not, is it too early to get in line for the finished product?

shinronin,

Doesn't appear that we need anymore donations. There is another being made Friday and I think that will make 15 but if we need you I will PM you. You can get in line for sure. Just keep track of this thread and I am sure Jay at EVO-R will let us know ASAP when they are done.

First come first serve basis.

i think the initial point was good looking vents... i am fine either way, but would prefer cf.... on something this small the price difference should not be that much...

and as i said it is the same mold.... and if eric has it done where he has the lip spoilers done. i doubt it would be hard to split them up.

i am good either way.... i have a couple of erics works and am quite pleased... and i am not near impatient... my lip spoiler took a while and was worth the wait..

no,

i think it is a good looking vent vs not so good... fg or cf does not make a difference... the foot work you have done is the mold...

i am fine with a fg one... but if it works out we can do both i would prefer a cf one...

the reason.. i have evor eylids and a rear lip spoiler in cf...

but i would like a fg good looking one before an *** like cf one..

no one needs to get worked up about this... we have covered the mold... it will only benifit evor in the future...

and as i said fg is fine for me...

evor has a very good rep for keeping the group buys going for a long while..

here's my story and im stickin to it:

I had been considering cf fender vents in the past but the only ones I could find were available thru hookupshop.com

they were expensive and i really didnt like the design....so I wasnt gonna remove my REALLY NICE EXPENSIVE strakes to put on something that i didnt like just cuz it was cf.....

so, low and behold, i see this thread....and I LOVE the style of these new vents...the best ones ive seen so far but since I am a CF HO I would like to compliment my other CF stuff on the car...

there ya have it.....

jays a smart guy.. i bet he has a price for both... and we can pick and choose... its all about the mold... just my a guess.. i could be way off base and have to put good looking fg vents on my car...

dont think anyone would not like the fg.. it is the look and this one is good.

btw. DRKSYDE you got it done... thx...

THE HORROR!!!!!

beers

I believe the "pioneers" get first dibs. Shouldn't be too long a wait for the others though.
