Extreme Dimensions JUNK! Carbon Crap..

Maybe that's what they meant, needs a lot of work to get it fitted right. It looks pretty good in the newer pix. I like it... are you planning to repaint the red part? To Titanium grey or Black would work with the Carbon. Even the X-men Dark blue... or go crazy and do custom color... Purple!
Question, for the rear, is that the rear exhausts popping out in the middle part? I know that the real MS Kit has these brackets that pushes that part down so that you can't see the canisters....

I think you should paint your car black also. It would look better with the CF.
And then polish the CF surface some, so the shine look even.
Some sort of wing, Mazdaspeed, GT or just the small Mazda OEM wing behind.
Bigger Exhaust, Borla maybe, not too big like HKS, might singe your carbon enclosure.
and Rims of course.
Im pretty sure you will have a nice looking car finally, thats ALOT of carbon!
Sorry to hear your problems with extreme dimensions, and thanks for bringing it up here so we wont fall victim to those guys too.

The fitment is better in the later pics, but as a whole, this CF overdose still is ugly IMO. The only way for this car to look good is if you'd go now all out and changed every single panel to carbon fiber. Otherwise, it kinda looks like a car that due to an accident had a bunch of the body panels replaced and was awaiting a proper paint job...

With a BASF Sponsorship, rest assured the car will be repainted... this post is not to pick on the car... I have built some of the best cars in the nation, this is just the beginning stages of the process... My car has been in Cali since last March for product development of 3 new body kits and I have been unable to touch the car.

Some of the top cars in the Nation...Hmmm can we see some of them???
As for ED... I like the idea but their SEMA car looked like complete and total ****. I hope that you do something about the crazy contrast between the red and C/F.
Sorry to be so harsh, but C/F is becoming soooooo played out. I painted my C/F Mint Blue wing because it just get sick of seeing ZX2's and 80 Civics with C/F hoods and interior kits.

Since your going for that carbon fiber look, I say get the carbon rear doors too. Work in progess always look abit off, but I bet this car is gonna be sick when it's done.

Were you planning on painting over the carbon fiber red? If so I don't see the problem--but I agree with everyone else--carbon fiber is a nice accent but can be easily overdone.

Sorry to hear about this man.
Don't buy carbon fibre though, it is a rip off. I don't even know what Grade A carbon fibre means, they don't use that term in the aerospace industry. It sounds as if it is a wet layup which is really shitty and will warp because there is often air bubbles in the material. The prescence of air bubbles also means the structural rigidity is ****, defeating the purpose of the material. The carbon fibre you see on aircraft/race cars/enzo's etc is not this ****, it is a dry cf which is of far higher quality.
Think of cf like wood. You have oak and cherry, that is nice wood, high quality, akin to the aerospace cf's. Then there is plywood, that is generally what these car companies produce when talking about cf. People pay top dollar because they are misinformed. Would you pay oak prices for plywood?

I take my hat off to you CreativeCompact.
You might just've saved quite a few people alot of money and alot of misery by taking the time to take those pictures and post them up here. The lack of response from ED on this thread says it all!! Their silence is deafening!! Here's hoping the b'stards never sell another piece of cf again if that's the quality. Sorry that you had to find out how bad they were first hand.
Also sorry that instead of the thanks you deserve from fellow forum members for highlighting the issue, you've had to put up with such an incredible amount of ignorant responses on the thread!
I don't know how you've managed to give such calm and measured responses to stupid post after stupid post about "too much cf", don't like the cf with the red", "are you gonna paint it", "looks unfinished"
C'mon, he stated right from the start, over and over, it's a test fit, it's unfinished, it WILL be painted. He was drawing attention to the fit, he said ignore the finish!
So nearly every reply turns into someones opinion of the finish
If you're gonna reply at least have the decency to read the man's posts first
Best of luck to you CC, hope you get it sorted and thanks for the heads up about ED.
