Car looks like a Russian police car. Too bad it can't be glued together into a tilt front end

Why not?

If you're taking the few critics immature way of telling you they aren't fond of how your car looks, understand that they are probably young and, well, immature. Don't take it to heart.

Most of us are interested in your project. I, for one, was looking into the Carbon Creations parts, and am glad you spoke up.

dude, where you install these in San Francisco? you mind telling me the name of the body shop? and Erebuni is a crap company, it's been known for their ugly copy cat replica, they're good at stealing other car's kit and put it on another car, like a evo looking front end on a mazda 3, and those X man kit they're selling.........sigh, **** quality. if i'm mazda i'll ask them pay at attorney for making it's car look ugly.
i'm sorry but i'll have to say your car looks very funny the way it is, i don't care about what color...................you'll never see this type of stuff in the japanese industry, and this is why they are still leading us....

Angry Oh What A Tangled Web We Weave!!!!

I for one read these posts day after day and sit back in amazement......99.9 percent of the people that post on this site (negatively) probably are still waiting for mommy to buy them this car for their sixteenth birthday-The guy that is building this car has an obvious wealth of knowledge that greater excedes anything 99.9 percent of us have.....Besides the point he is already in the top of the car scene....he doesn't need someone who can't even afford groceries telling him that his "carbon fiber kit doesn't go with red".....you asked him to prove that he has cars that were among the nations best...HE DID!!!! Anyone who knows anything about body work knows that if theis guy even had the know how to find somone that would even begin to try to fix the problem with the first pics....he obviously has contacts.....Anyway!!!!everyone on here needs to climb down off their horse and try to be a little more positive to the people that are trying to save the people money that could afford this kit......if all you can afford is a replica kit....buy one!!!!!Don't sit around bo-hooing about it!!!!

IN CLOSING I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT IF AT ANYTIME I HURT SOMEONES FEELINGS......IM SORRY....

I agree with the idea the Momo is trying to convey, that is, CC didn't come here to hear criticism of his cars appearance, but rather to warn others about possible failings in quality from this company. Which is a noble thing to do.

However, I fail to see how peoples financial status and age somehow make their opinions moot as momo would suggest. It seems to me just a rediculous and immature as all the 'hey man it looks gay with the red and black' comments.

i am glad he posted and cannot wait to see the car when its done. I was looking into the trunk and hood but i think i am going to sending an email to them and tell them, pending their decision about what they want to do to correct this , they may have lost a customer.
In fact, we should all email them and tell them that. Tell them that if they are not going to stand behind thier product them we will let the entire automotive community on the internet know what poor fitment and customer service was recieved when buy from them. It wouldnt be hard if everyone here posted this in the other forums they frequent. Before long, they have 100s of thousands of auto enthusiasts seeing this and seeing the poor fitment.
Maybe then they will get off their *** and do something to make this right.

Thanks for posting this and making us all aware.
I cannot wait to see the finished product

I've never seen a carbon fiber kit fit properly.

I always see them warp and fade too.

Fading is because lack of clear coat... Working with BASF to get over some clear for the time being until we decide how to tackle the paint on the car...

Bumper held up to 127mph real well...

sorry for the bad luck. thanks for the post. i was just looking into ED and was seriously considering exactly what you have done. i know now to avoid ED products.

the repair pics seemed like the parts fit better. what was the total cost with repair? are you planning on keeping the cf? if so, i think ED should foot the bill for the repair. i suggest seeking legal advice.

good luck with this situation, CC.

I talked to Stephanie (SpicyMSP) at Extreme Dimensions.. and she said that you can contact her directly and she will help you with this issue. She was the person posting info about their products before... but now that she's moved into a different dept. she doesn't have as much time to keep posting online here.. thus part of the reason ED is no longer a vendor on this board.

Hope things work out.

I bought ED’s urethane kit and haven’t had time to fit them yet… I noticed few days ago that they are not listed as a vendor any more… This makes me really nervous….
Anyone here w/ Extreme dimension’s urethane kit? If so, how’s the fitment?
Hi e46328, have you gotten your urethane kit yet?

I was just looking at ED's urethane MS style full rear bumper. I like the MS rear bumper, but dont like to cut off the original. So this would be a good choice.

Could you please drop a note here or PM me your experience with the kit.

Thanks

I personally saw the Rear bumper in person, and took the pictures that are on this site. The material was very flexible, and looks good... without the hesitation of cutting the stock rear. I have no idea about the fitment... because it's an aftermarket part, fitment could be really bad, or good. Depending on your body shop, it should fit fine anyhows.

Hello,
I received the kit while ago but haven't fitted them yet. My friend who was going to fit them for me is out of town for 2 weeks
I will let you know when they are fitted.
