I'm 21 from the UK and just bought a beautiful RX-8 190 Titanium Grey.
I wanted the 220, but the insurance was too unreasonable.

Pick it up on Friday -- hapiest man in the country!

I'm gonna check with the dealer when I pick it up, but I don't think it has the HID lights on it. I've seen some adverts on eBay for conversion kits that are supposedly 'Universal' (example).

Is this BS?

I can't seem to find many places in the UK to get them from, so any brands/links you can recommend would be awesome.

I installed an ebay aftermarket universal hid kit on my mazdaspeed protege, my friend's 94 honda accord, svt lighting, and a 99 eclipse. I also installed a 3000K amber hid kit on my 8's fog lights. they were all on ebay, and none cost over 150 shipped. they've all worked great. they all had a 1 year warranty on bulbs and hardware. I've never had a problem with them, but it's all my own experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about the K-Light Kit, I have installed them in numerous cars now, and thats my white 8 with them. I would reccomend them to anyone.

 

same here i just installed an hid that i bought on ebay and it was actually for my celica and it still worked it works great
