I like #2 but I am not sure about the silver mesh bit. If it is black CF with black mesh... please don't have me left out.

Gemini will ship anywhere in the world i believe...

and for the last time.... its the angle of the picture and the lighting of the picture that it looks like its silver CF........... IT IS BLACK CF :p

the ones Gemini are producing right now will be avaliable in black CF, red kevlar/CF, orange kevlar/Cf, blue kevlar/Cf, yellow kevlar/CF, silver kevlar/CF, and red kevlar/CF

and YES there will be a choice of silver or black mesh.

The style you are suggesting ("Style 2") is the Autobahn replacement version

I like the Autobahn Version with Strakes

I am assuming these are basically 1 and the same??

If this can be done in Black, I'm very interested.

Theyre just the same vent, im sure its the strakes that are modified somehow to fit on there

Alright guys,

I just got off the with Marc from Gemini and looks like everything is in full swing

They have finnished cutting and sanding everything and is starting to make the first rough mold....then comes more sanding and polishing on the rough mold to make a production piece mold and then they can start producing them..

looks like one more week and we can see the first production CF vent !
I will keep you guys updated.

As long as these vents will accept O.E.M. strakes (even if it means drilling them) as per the autobahn ones, then that's O.K. with me.

I have a hard time believing that OEM strakes will properly fit on these side vents. Every aspect of these fenders change in every section of the grille. If you move the strake 2 holes, the angle changes enough to not fit tight against the fender. They need to be moved to the sites of the bridge in the openings which would necessitate this change. This bridge is located below the present mounting place on the fenders. An OEM strake would have to be ground on the mounting side to change the angle and to snug them up. The ones that were on the autobahn side vents were described by the owner to have small gaps when derwankel asked him about how well the OEMs fit.

However, custom strakes can be made and, if the demand were great enough, some inventive members may be willing to accomodate this need. :D
