SCC, go to a scrap yard and measure part diameters. Im sure you can find several totalled RX-8s... Theyres too many young kids that dont know how to handle a lightweight rwd car and think they "absolutely have to have one." Happened to a friend of mine... Im sure that there are a bunch of totalled ones lying around...
there is no such thing as dry carbon. its a misnomer, if your referring to "pre-preg" then no the parts will be vacuum bagged. if you mean the semi gloss look that some companies refer to as "dry" then sure all that is is the same part hit with 800-1000 grit sand paper or just not final polished.

sorry but that's retarded, would be ridiculously expensive, and there would not be a high demand for it.
Keep in mind, unless you're buying authentic MS and then having a CF overlay put on, you're risking buying some piece of crap Replica that isn't going to fit properly and your shop will have fun trying to get a CF part to fit properly.
not gonna happen...
that isn't a knock on SCC's products but the fact that it would be based off an inferior replica part that is notorious for horrible fitment.
just my $.02
thank you for your feedback jedi54 I appreciate all input that is why i posted this tread. maybe I haven't been clear. though the roof piece will be a manufactured part (as apposed to overlay/wrapping) the wrapping service that i provide is for customer supplied parts. if a customer wants me to wrap there MS body kit then i will. heck i can do the entire car and make it look like a Zonda if so desired and funded.
so you see i do not buy parts and wrap the for resale.
i hope that clarifies things a bit.

SCC, i think that if you could fab up a cf roof/wrap that it would be an instant hit and really put your name out in the business, not that it isnt... im just sayin... Anyways... just take my advice and go to a junkyard and get the measurments! Then you will have what you need to make the product work. Unless thereis something im missing... and if there i, infom me and i will help out.
