I left a message with Steve Goldin to see about getting this kit, if there is enough interest it could end up being a group buy. He's back in the office on Monday the 23rd so I hope to hear from him not long after that.

I spoke with Steve today and he is a really nice guy. He said that he'd be willing to do whatever and get whatever parts we were interested in. He gave me his brother Keiths number to call tomorrow. Apparently the kit requires some cutting of the body as the rear MS bumper requires. I will find out prices and what type of cutting is required when I speak to him tomorrow.
I'm definately willing to get this as long as the price isn't out of control.

Here, a higher res pic of the front side.
I think it will require quite a lot of work to get your RX like that.
One of the main reasons why that body kit looked good there is the extremely squat and super wide rims and slicks they use.
I dont know if you can get that kind of tires anywhere.
Using this kit over your normal 18 or 19 inchers just wouldnt look right.
Get the hood pins too... goes with the setup.

I think you forgot to upload the pic can you so we can see the better resolution of it? thanks
And yah your right about it being alot of work to get the car to look like that but if it's not an out of control price I'd be willing to try it. I'd personally rather drive the car down ther and let the Goldin team handle the install, since they've already done it before.
How wide would 12 inch tires look and would they even fit the card without modification, do you know anyone on this forum who has put anything larger than 10 inch wide in the rear?

Needless to say its a totally custom 3 rotor RX-8, I have to agree that is the nicest widebody RX-8 I saw. Its very wide to accomodate the super wide racing slicks.
Unfortunately the car crashed during the prelims and in the end they replaced the black kits with a red one... doesnt look so nice, but... its still a great piece of work.
But still a darn fine job for those guys, one of the only 3 teams of RX-8s going against the usual boring drab procession of Porsches.
Here are some more pics for you guys to enjoy

I hate to bump old stuff but.. Does anyone know what type of rims those are? I just like the style, I know the size would be to big, i just want something close looking. BBR was the closest I could get, but I didnt eve find a place that seels them black/silver.
