Finally installed my Bell Plate Re-Locator this morning. Looks fabulous! Will apply little rubber bumpers to back of the plate later. I'm sorry to hear it'll rust; do you think spraying with WD-40 would prevent that?
Installation tip: if you use the existing holes under the lip, you can't install the bracket with the two OEM screws; they're too short. Go to the hardware store and get a couple of 10 x 1" sheet metal screws. I also got a couple of zinc plated flat washers (#8), as the OEM screws have kind of a washer built in under the screw head, and the sheet metal screws I bought don't. |
