True, but don't forget that those pieces have to be painted...

1300 for the full kit from Rotary Extreme... plus how much to get it painted and fitted? $800? $1,000? You've almost bought the real MS kit for that price!

well to each his own depending on if you value having the "real deal" and getting warranty coverage(i beleive) as well as convenience or are all out on saving money on all aspects of improving your car so you can get more for the same amount

Look dude. Why do you have to be an ***? I pointed out that you save little money by going urethane replica. It's been said on this forum before. Mike pointed out that even if only a little bit of money, you can pickup a couple extra pieces. My end to this all... ok, that's fine for you. It's your car and your money.

There's no need for you go continue to go on like that...

Most people (I believe) are NOT putting their cars in shows, autocrossing, or anything. This is a daily driver for them and they will be trading it in in 5 or so years. As much as the RB kit grows on me and my new love, the Fabulous rear, and I really question resale with those kits on your car. Thus it's not a matter of "value having the 'real deal.'" It seems either the apperance package or REAL MS kit are maybe the best way to go... I don't know if Mikeb fixed it or not, but someone had noticed a difference in the fit of his rear bumper and the "real deal." Mike?

alright dude i dont understand how i was being an ***, or starting to get into a conflict with you, if i even came off that way i did not intend to. i was just adding onto what mike said that when you go with a urethane replica the small amount that you do save can go to other things. and i dont see how you are going on with the "real deal thing" all i'm saying is some people dont like having the insecurity of having replica or fake parts.

"To each his own" meant just that. If you want to save a couple dollars for 1 or 2 extra parts in exchange for a nearly perfect fit... then go for it. Your car, your money. The MS kit from Mazda... not inexpensive at all and that black bar is hated, but it will fit like it came from the factory like that and no painting required. It will also be easy to replace in the event of an accident (going together with the resale value thing). Everyone has different priorities and tastes... "to each his own..."

Saying "well to each his own depending..." is saying "yeah, but..." You were still trying to argue/support your point when I was bowing out of the discussion. IF you didn't intend it to come off that way, then ok... but that is how you came across.
