Any ideas

I have this rust on my wheels and would like to remove it. Any ideas on what and how to get this stuff off?

That's your brake rotor, not your wheel. And the correct answer is paint it. Or new rotors.

haha. my bad. ok so obviously the cheaper answer is to paint it, but is that something i would want to do myself. I dont want to mess up my rotors

there where pictures of someone who painted his rotors and it looked great, you just need to make sure everything that you dont want painted is covered up

WD-40 Spray and a metal brush will work.

Clean the rust off with brake cleaner and a wire brush then paint it silver or black. It is not difficult and you will be surprised how much it cleans up the car.
