Any DIY or directions for installing Front Air Dam (Apperance kit?)/ bumper removal?

I have to have my front air dam (black non appearance kit) replaced, so I figured why not have the shop install the one from the appearance kit?

Any thoughts on if it will look unbalanced without side skirts?

My real question is, are there any directions I can give my body shop to install it?

Does the air dam come with any directions?

Lastly are there any tips I can forward them about taking off the front bumper more easily than as shown in the mazda documentation? I've read here people say the front bumper can be taken off in 15 mins.

thanks.

emailists...the instructions that come with the front air dam are very, very detailed. The bodyshop should have no difficulty following the directions and installing the dam no problem.

As for looks....I'm not sure how it will look w/o the side skirts!! If you decide it looks off, the good news is the side aero flares are not too expensive and easy enough to install yourself!!

Good luck!!

Maybe a stupid question, but does the rotary accent go on after or before the airdam is installed?
