did you guys check out my pics? the look is great... even primered and not 100% fit. Different mods are for different people, bigred, obviously your into handling so of course you love coilovers for your location and driving style. Some people would rather walk out side every morning, see their car with some accolade fenders, and cream in their pants a little.... atleast i would :D

All I am saying is if I were you and I had that much to spend, there is no way I would spend money on big purchases unless the big purchase was perfect quality. Lets say, if you spend 2k on coilovers and they work perfectly and serve their purpose, or if you spend 2k on different fenders and they "Kind of" fit perfectly, there is always that kind of that goes along with the product. Basically, there are better aftermarket kits quality wise that bring out the stock shape also, so i guess i am biased because the other kits fit better.

I see what your saying completely, i guess ill just have to see finished pictures of other peoples fenders, finished prices and sit on the idea a bit longer.

haha, yeah i saw your pictures...they do look AWESOME even when primered (im partial to flat black so + for awesomeness) but if i could bother you...i would LOVE to see some up close shots of the gaps you guys are referring to, the spots that you guys said wern't perfect fits. I'm really curious to see what the imperfections are.

If its not too much trouble that would be AWESOME.

they spent about 10 hours on each fender to match the lines and the gaps... the gaps are about perfect and all the wavyness of the fender was taken out... so i think it was 40 dollars per hour without paint and paint was an additional charge that i cant remember...

i would also recomend doing colovers or maybe... some brake pads and rotors, sway bars, endlinks, exhaust, int-x... there are a lot options that you may want to consider first

oh my goodness. that is some seriously horrible craftsmanship by accolade. I don't know if you got a bad set, or if they were all like that. And 800 dollars for a shop to fix the already "good quality" fenders is terrible. man that is a real downer. Unless accolade can convince me that they would give me a better quality product i will have to seriously reconsider.

I was warned about Accolade by a friend in my local Mazda Owners club. Apparently they also make body parts for the Mazda3's and the fitment is horrible, plus their customer service is non-existent and they wouldn't take returns. I would not recommend buying these fenders IMHO

I love the way they look, they just need to be prepared by a body shop for perfect fitment.

Does anyone have any idea where to get the strakes for it? looks like no one is having a good time with them but Accolade assured me they are going to fit perfect. Maybe I should reconsider this.

They don't fit perfectly, but they can be worked on to do so. My friend told me they made strakes for these, but I'm sure they would be WAY too large considering how wide the new airduct is.

"they" as in your friends or accolade? because accolade told me the strakes are not available.

"They" as is somebody. Not necessarily Accolade.

I think the strakes are way too big.

k well since we have established that acoolades fenders fit horribly. are there any more options? links to other websites with fenders for sale would be awesome, i tried searching and couldnt find 1 thread on fender replacments...besides the accolade fenders. I would have to get a quote from a shop to fully determine which fenders i may get, but toher options would be nice

i remember reading about 5 months ago in a thread where there were pictures of other after market fenders, nrf included, but for the life of me i cant find that thread, or any link to these fenders.
