MM Cobb AP v.s GReddy Emanage Ultimate
Im looking to get my car tuned...it will be a 04 RX8 MT and I was wondering what would be better

Depends on the shop and their reputation and your ability to deal with outdated stuff.
The MM tuned Cobb AP is without a doubt the most simplistic way to have your car tuned by someone who knows the 8 very well.

EMU is an ok ECU. but u really need to know the car + the software itself to tune it properly.
AP can do a lot of stuff that EMU can't do. at least it can mask any nasty CEL that you dont want
(state inspection sucks I know)

is the local shop very good with the EMU?
The only 'advantage' to the EMU for you at this point is that if the car is not runnign right, the shop is local and you can go in for adjustments.
With the MM AP, it is taking longer then expected to get updated Maps.
Are you going turbo or staying N/A/ for a while?
