EMU confirming rpm?

I have a slow flash on the interaction led when the engine is running but the engine seems to be running well and the rpm reading in the logging seems accurate.

is there a problem or is the slow flash normal?

Exclamation

Almost same problem here.

I installed the eManage as per the instructions, the unit worked perfectly, and I managed to play around with some fuel and ignition maps. This was about three months ago.

However, for some time now (I cannot pinpoint the cause or exact date) the eManage recognizes the Ignition On (INTERACTION LED Steady ON), but when I start the engine, the INTERACTION LED will start to Slow Flash Steadily, which according to the manual means that the EMU is trying to verify/pickup Engine RPM. This status never changes, and the EMU will not connect with a PC in order to program it. Everything else works OK, the car operates 100%, just that the Steady Slow Flash of the INTERACTION LED will not stop, and the EMU does not connect to a PC.

The only jumper that I can see having any effect on this problem is JP15, which is set to 1-2 (Normal, Pickup from ECU), matched of course to the 1-pin marking on the board.

Please let me know if this is a known problem, if there is anything I can do, if it might be a car problem (but how could it be, everything else works 100%), and how I can correct it.

Thanks

I never managed to determine if the slow flash was normal or not.

I'm just posting to say that I am VERY DISAPPOINTED by the extremely poor support by Trust/Greddy. I have bought my EMU legally, I sent an email two months ago to Greddy/Trust and the vendor (MOHD, now Addictive Racing) noting the serial number, I also posted here (which someone from Trust/Greddy is supposedly watching), and until now I have received only a response by Addictive mentioning that they will also forward my problem/email to Greddy.

The EMU is less than 5 months old, and is completely useless, unless someone from Greddy can tell me what the hell is going on.....

Up until now, zip.......it is obvious that I will think twice before buying another Greddy/Trust electronic part, or before suggesting the same to a friend....
