Stage 1 works fine with the high flow cat, resonator and Greddy cat back. In fact, all Stage 1 boxes shipped have been tested on Maurice's car (which has the above).

Maurice told me today that the CZ-MidP4 I ordered will have a 3 db increase in max sound. This is noticeable to the human ear but not a large increase -- that is good news to me!

I would need a different map (not stage 1) to run the high flow cat, midpipe, and resonator...correct??

Maurice told me that the new Stage 1 would be the appropriate map for the CZ-MidP4 (midpipe, cat, resonator) set-up I just ordered. He said they could do a different map for it but the gain over Stage 1 would be very minimal. Stage 1 is already set for that set-up. With the new Stage 1 they essentially eliminated the need for a Stage 2.

So, the CZ-MidP4 is gonna match-up to your Borla exhaust, right? (Just like it does with the Geddy SP2, since they were both made to fit-up to the OEM system...) Sweet!

We are concerned that in stock tune the extremely high level of hydrocarbons (unburned fuel) the car spits out might ruin the cat.
Shouldn't this be less of a factor after the latest flashes?

Really yeah? Is that with the new 5" cat? I thought that hadn't been finished yet.

Yes -- new shipments are with the 5" cat according to CZ. They decided to scrap all the 4.5" they had made up.
