How about you try reading the g*ddamned forum?

Its not like anyone has spent a significant amount of time researching and evaluating all the possible options for tuning the RX-8 and written extensive threads about their operation and implementation.

Not on the RX-8 it won't. It won't do anything at all.

No, you won't.

Until you do find a solution, how about you stop posting here?

The RX-8 isn't OBD-II. Its CAN.

And that wont program anything, which is what the OP is trying to do, apparently.

However I do understand that but all US cars 96 and up have a 16 pin OBD2 port you just need the software that is compatable with CAN like I said mine works great on my 8 but like you said you can not program with CAN OBD2 software leave the poor kid alone thats why we have this great club to help thous that are in need of a little education

maybe he thinks that our cars are like civics were you can hook a laptop to the ecu and tune it on the go.

Well, technically, even Civics can't do that.
You still need a software package like Hondata.

Our cars are like that, but you need the Hymee software and hardware combination at a minimum.

But don't tell the OP that - He'll start pestering Mark to give it to him for really cheap and then he'll be stuck supporting a clueless customer.
