Hey guys, I've bought a Greddy kit for my rx-8 along with exhaust from greddy, they seem to be bolt on, but here's the problem altho i replaced the sparks, the car needs tuning as in maping the ECU now i've talked to greddy and they gave me a version which i can work with and installed it , because the other one required a password.
My question is the following , can someone help me create a map or give me pointers to what i can do, would apriciate it alot.

you need a professional tune cuz it sounds like you dont know how to at all and I would suggest taht if you dont know to find a shop that can do it professionally, otherwise you might go......BOOM

 

Well the car is in a tuning shop , what im really asking is for a map, because the guys that i gave it to have tuned everything from lancer to GTR , but havent tuned a RX8 yet, I bet they'll do their job pretty good but i wanted to some tips on the turbo maps, from people that have done em, anyways thanks for the comments

 

No two rx-8 tunes can be the same.

You'll need to take it to a rotary tuning shop.

Try talking to MM, I mention Jeff because he might be able to give you better advice. Otherwise, I would suggest finding a shop that specializes in rotary engines even better if you can find one that knows a lot about the Renesis. Just finding a map won't just solve your problems. What else besides the kit did you buy to help support you install?

 

Yep, it comes with a manual and software(on a disk), its supposed to be bolt on, regardless of 192 or 231, but i guess it doesn't work so , anyways i knew what i was geting in to with tuning the car, sadly im in Bulgaria and the nearest place that knows what its doing a tuning shop in Greece. The guy working on my car said he's working in accordance with some guy from Greddy in the US.
