How Kane Tunes an FI Renesis - Turbo, Ported, Ceramic Seals
I am running 265's in the rear, so I think I will have traction(ish), I'll start on the EBC this weekend. I think I can get 190% Load at around 3500 in 1st, that would be pretty nice.
are you playing with the ssv opening time?
I have a thread started on this and when my low compression build is finished ( hopefully next week) I plan on looking at that very closely.
I LIKE the better safe than sorry approach you are doing.

Nice man!

Suck it...
Now before all the "it's not a dyno" nerds chime in. AEM intake (factory size housing), that is 4.8 Volts at 10.1 PSI. Scaling aside, the mechanics of the sensor cannot be screwed with.
Looks like my ported motor needs APV's to open earlier....
Also looks like the 3071R can flow just fine up top.....
I am 11 tunes in since coming home, if you count the mechanical fixes, it it a few hundred.
For just the tuning, maybe 40 hours total in the last 2 months.
As has been mentioned previously, I am overly **** about my tuning. I didn't even start on boosting until all my AFR's were within 3% of my targets, and I didn't start on the EBC until all my boosted values were within 3% too....you light your car on fire a few times, it makes you paranoid I guess.

I realize this is an old post but since this chap didn't give me credit for it, I'll say it myself. I am the one who reprogrammed the stock FD ECU ..thus provided them with a 3D view of the map(s).
BTW - This is the base leading timing of the FD in a more useable format:

The 2° or so of "safety" margin is readily absorbed by the higher compression ratio.
