How do you actually tune with Nitro?

I've read on when you go over 55 shot of nitro, you should tune. But how do you actually do that? Do you drive down the road really fast, spray then tune?

You take a guess at how much extra fuel your car will need and dump a little extra for safety. Then try and take fuel out until its running right. However, running nitrous on a rotary is a dumb idea.

^ Please explain why it is a bad idea to run nitrous on a renesis if properly tuned.

Has nothing to do with renesis. All rotaries in general. The OEM seals cannot take rapid change in temperature (thermal shock) that nitrous makes. They will warp or break. How long you want your engine to last? A few pulls or 100,000+ miles?

If you want to run nitrous, its more work then just adding a bottle and some fuel. The motor needs to be built with seals that can take the thermal shock like ceramics and be properly clearanced for rapid temperature change. You also need to make sure the motor has adequate cooling modifications done as nitrous generates a lot of heat.
